Acrobat Reader

Acrobat Reader is a program that allows you to open, view, and print .pdf files -- a universal format that has rapidly gained wide usage. Government agencies, software companies, and industry are using this technology for files downloaded from the Internet or received by e-mail.

WinZip

Zip files are "archives" used for distributing and storing files; they can contain one or more files. Usually the files "archived" in a Zip are compressed to save space. Zip files make it easy to group files and make transporting and copying these files faster.

PES Version 8 Upgrades

Patch to upgrade to version 8.5.4

The Zip files below will upgrade the PES Windows software, version 8.x.x to version 8.5.4. It includes an updated executable file and reports. Click here for more information.

INSTRUCTIONS:

Download the file for your area by right clicking on the link and selecting Save As or Save Target As and save somewhere on your Hard Drive you will remember. Most people have a Downloads folder under My Documents, this would be a good place to save the file where it would be easy to find.
Open the zip file using WinZip and extract the file into your PES Folder. This should be C:\Program Files\ PES if you used the defaults when installing the software.
To check and make sure changes have taken place open your PES Software and either look at the bottom right next to the copyright information or go to Help | About and you should see version 8.5.4 listed.

WARNING: Check your existing version of the PES Software and use the correct update for your current system. DO NOT use this upgrade if the version you are using is version 7 or earlier. Your version number will appear when you start your PES Windows program; or you can select Help | About Profile to locate your current version. If you are not sure about updating your system you can e-mail Technical Support at support@lmi-inc.com.

PLEASE NOTE: Before you update your PES Software, back up the pes.exe file and the lmisys.mdb file. If an error does occur while updating, with these two files, LMI Technical Support can replace your data if your system fails. Use the proper file for your area.
